The next tournament is at Green Valley, IA August 15.
Meeting was called to order at 7:00pm.

Federation Report:
Federation has increased state tournament fees at Truman for 2015 to $150 per team member; but club dues remain the same. It was voted on and passed that a club could send more than one team to state.
Youth Report: Dave G. is looking for a person to help with the High School tournaments. The goal is for this person to take over in a couple of years.
State Tournament rules have switched to PRO-AM style. Boater vs Boater Pot and Non-Boater vs Non-Boater Pot. Top 10 boaters and Top 10 non-boaters will move on from State Tournament.
There is no limit to the size of the state team sent from each club. There is no need to sen an equal number of boaters and non-boaters.
2015 Mr. Bass tournament will be August 1, with practice on July 31.
2016 Mr. Bass tournament will be September 17.
The Nebraska Bass Federation web site is up and running.
The Nebraska Bass Federation State Tournament will be at Lake of the Ozarks.
2015 Open Tournaments - There will be two open tournaments: September 12, 2015 at Milford Lake, KS.
2015 Open Tournaments - BASS needs to know if clubs are interested in continuing BASS Federation Open Tournaments. They need at least 20 boats to have the tournament.
Status of future raffles are in question. Up for consideration is a raffle to the BASS classic.
The last BASS Federation meeting was July 12. Nebraska is the host state in 2016.
Discussion
Motion - "Sportman of the Year" Award is now the option of a plaque or a jacket. The winner will choose. Motion passed 9/Yes 0/No
Motion - The club will pay up to $75 for the "Sportman" jacket with the balance, if any, paid by the winner. Motion passed 9/Yes 0/No.
Club will pay for Okoboji cabin and then will be reimbursed by the members who wish to stay there for the tournament.
Old Business:
Ed suggested 50% of the tournament entry fee goes to the club and the other 50% goes to the payout -- This was voted on and passed
Payout will be - First Place 50% Second Place 35% Third Place 15%
Motion was made that $15 from each tournament go into a pot for the state team - Passed
Leon will check with Woodhouse about sponsoring the state team.
The meeting place is now Famous Daves - 2015 Pratt Avenue - Bellevue.
If a member, who is no longer on probationary status (first year in club), declines any nomination(s) for an officer position(s) after not serving in an officer position the previous year, they will only be able to participate as a state team member for OBA after all other members are provided an opportunity. After this, if they are asked to participate as a state team member, they will not be offered any funding associated with the OBA state team, including entry fee, banquet charge, etc. Individuals who served as officers the previous year are exempt from serving as officers. They have the right to either turn down any nominations or run for the office.--Passed 5 to 2
New Business:
All members need to chip in and get involved with building the club back up. Everyone needs to help.
Motion made for Sponsorship money to be evenly spread across state team.
Those who haven't paid their dues need to pay ASAP.
